When the guys running Forty One North in Northbrook found out their landlord planned to tear down their building, they started hunting for a new home.

In November 2007, they landed in downtown Highland Park and have started fresh with City Park Grill. The chic, exposed brick-filled space closely resembles the previous occupant, Metropolitan Cafe, serving many of the same American comfort food favorites as Forth One North.

CPG offers American comfort foods served in an upscale casual environment. CPG is a scratch kitchen; we prepare soups and sauces in house on a daily basis, bake our own desserts, receive fish daily and source the finest steaks available.

Favorites include Horseradish-crusted Salmon, Cashew Tilapia with Thai peanut sauce, Home made MEATLOAF and a Half-roasted Chicken served with herb broth, honey broth or barbecue style.
